Five days of Jiu Jitsu, new friendships, great food and Italian adventure. BJJ WinterWeek is heading to Turin in March 2027, bringing the international grappling community together for another unforgettable winter gathering.

If there’s one thing better than training Jiu Jitsu, it’s training Jiu Jitsu somewhere new, surrounded by people who share the same obsession. That’s exactly what BJJ WinterWeek is all about.

More Than Just a Training Camp

BJJ WinterWeek has always been about bringing people together through a shared love of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Previous editions have taken the event to Belfast, Leipzig and Tartu, combining high-quality instruction with open mats, organised trips, great food and plenty of opportunities to socialise.

Now, in March 2027, the adventure moves to Turin, Italy.

Expect an atmosphere that goes beyond the usual seminar or weekend open mat. WinterWeek is an opportunity to spend time on the mats with fellow grapplers from different countries, backgrounds, teams and affiliations.

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor, a dedicated hobbyist or someone who simply loves getting better at Jiu Jitsu, there’s something special about immersing yourself in the sport for several days.

Why Turin?

Located in the north of Italy, Turin is a city with plenty of character.

Surrounded by the spectacular Alps and known for its beautiful architecture, historic piazzas, excellent restaurants and legendary café culture, Turin offers a fantastic backdrop for a Jiu Jitsu getaway.

When you’re not on the mats, there’s plenty to explore.

Take a walk through the elegant streets of the city centre, discover the famous Piazza Castello, enjoy an espresso in one of Turin’s traditional cafés or settle in for an evening of authentic Piedmontese food.

And, of course, no Italian Jiu Jitsu trip would be complete without pizza, pasta and a few well-earned post-training drinks.

It’s the perfect combination: hard training during the day and Italian hospitality when the sessions are finished.

The WinterWeek Experience

What makes WinterWeek different from a conventional training seminar is the experience.

It’s not just about turning up, learning a technique and heading home. It’s about sharing the experience with people who understand the lifestyle.

Expect the spirit of Jiu Jitsu in its purest form: learning, sharing, challenging yourself and having a good time along the way.

Train Together. Travel Together.

One of the greatest things about the international BJJ community is how quickly strangers become friends.

It doesn’t matter which academy you represent, what belt you wear or where you come from. Once you’re on the mats, everyone speaks the same language.

WinterWeek is an opportunity to step outside your usual training environment, experience different approaches to the art and make connections with grapplers from across the world.

You might arrive knowing only a handful of people. You won’t leave that way.
